In Burkina Faso, France has called on its nationals to be cautious after thousands of demonstrators rallied on major streets of Ouagadougou to demand Captain Ibrahim Traore's leadership of the transition.

Local media reported a similar turnout of Traore’s supporters in Bobo-Dioulasso, the Burkinabe economic capital for the same purpose.
