The Special Prosecutor of the Court for the Repression of Economic Offenses and Terrorism (CRIET) provided new details regarding the arrests of former minister Oswald Homeky and businessman Olivier Boko.

Investigations indicate that Homeky allegedly contacted the commander of the Republican Guard, who is responsible for the President’s security, to plan a coup d’état scheduled for September 27, 2024, on behalf of both himself and Boko.
