The United Nations has announced a financial contribution of $156,400 to support the 29th edition of the Pan-African Film and Television Festival of Ouagadougou (FESPACO).
This year’s festival, running from February 22 to March 1, focuses on “African Cinemas and Cultural Identities,” with Chad as the guest of honor.
The UN’s support includes an official prize worth nearly 20 million CFA francs, emphasizing the festival’s role in promoting cultural diversity and social cohesion.
