The Election Union Observation Mission for the 2023 general election, has appealed to stakeholders to ensure a peaceful, free and fair poll.
The Chief Observer for EU Barry Andrews, made the call Monday after the bloc announced the deployment of 40 long-term observers to witness the upcoming elections in all the 36 states of the federation.
Andrews, a member of the European Parliament, explained that all observers are guided by a code of conduct which requires strict impartiality and non-interference in the election.
