The European Union has reiterated its support for the Nigerian government to achieve its National Policy on Climate Change.
EU Ambassador to Nigeria, Samuela Isopi made the pledge at a ceremony organized by the Federal Ministry of Environment in Nigeria's capital Abuja to commemorate the 2022 World Environment Day.
Samuela Isopi notes however that the indiscriminate disposal of waste, especially plastic, might pose a major threat to Nigeria's goal if not properly managed.
