The European Union has launched a five million United States dollar fisheries governance project in Liberia.

The project is a three-year project that seeks to strengthen the capacity and performances of local civil society organizations and media actors to protect the rights and livelihoods of fishermen and local fishmongers in Southeastern Liberia.
