The United Nations Environmental Program, UNEP says Air quality affects broad sectors of society, from human health to crop yields to the enjoyment of our national parks.

Annually, about 7 million people die due to outdoor air pollution and the annual cost is estimated at nearly 150 billion dollars due to disease, missed work, and damage to crops and forests.

Air pollution is the biggest environmental health risk of our time according to the Global organization.
