Senegalese football star Édouard Mendy has unveiled ChangeKeepers, a bold new initiative aimed at empowering young entrepreneurs tackling social, educational, and environmental challenges in Senegal.
The program will support 10 changemakers with €5,000 grants, 110 hours of tailored training through a partnership with business incubator Ignite.E, and free coworking space for seven months in Dakar—all fully funded by Mendy.
Currently playing for Al Ahli FC in Saudi Arabia, the 2025 Asian Champions League winner said ChangeKeepers is “an investment in the future of Senegal.”
Mendy sees the initiative as more than just a startup accelerator—it’s a mission to reduce youth unemployment and spark sustainable innovation across communities.
