The regional body ECOWAS, says the sub-region is affected by the ongoing Ukraine crisis that has threatened food security among the most vulnerable population.
In a report tagged: Assessment of the Risks and Impact of the Russian-Ukrainian Agricultural Production on the ECOWAS Region, the bloc says key agricultural imports are unable to reach member countries because of the conflict.
