President of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), Umaro Sissoco Embalo, has welcomed the resolution of the crisis in Burkina Faso which resulted in the resignation of Lieutenant-Colonel Paul-Henri Sandaogo Damiba, without further confrontation between the military units.
