A top senior ECOWAS official says corruption is killing the region while advocating for term limits for elected leaders.
The chairman of the Political Affairs, Peace and Security of the ECOWAS Parliament, Edwin Snowe Junior, also lamented the challenges of domesticating ECOWAS Protocols in the member countries.
He was speaking during the Delocalized Meeting of the Joint Committee on Political Affairs, Peace and Security Committee on Legal Affairs and Human Rights Committee on Social Affairs, Gender and Women Empowerment in the Gambian capital Banjul.
