A Ministerial meeting on “Sexual and Gender-based Violence and the Status of Girls’ and Women’s Rights during the Covid-19 Pandemic and Beyond is underway.
The meeting is taking place by videoconferencing and brings together key stakeholders in the gender sector and the protection of women and girls from the 15 ECOWAS Member States.
This meeting of experts was officially launched on Monday by the Honourable Siga Fatima Jagne, ECOWAS Commissioner for Social and Gender Affairs.
