ECOWAS envoy and former Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan on Tuesday visited Bamako to meet with the head of the transitional government Colonel Assaime Goita and his Prime Minister.

Mr. Jonathan told reporters that he had travelled to Bamako to meet with the leaders of the country over the future of the transition and the holding of election in February next year.
