The meeting of ECOWAS Council of the Wise came to an end on Tuesday with the nomination of new members expected to provide support to the ECOWAS mediation organ. 

The two-day meeting held in Accra, also had participants deliberate and define the rules of procedures in line with the Statute and brainstorm on strategies to swiftly respond to and mitigate the growing peace and security challenges in the sub region.
