Former Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan believes the challenges confronting the ECOWAS region are surmountable.
Dr. Jonathan, who spoke at the council of the wise meeting in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial capital, noted that the crisis rocking the region are not new and the people can overcome them.
The council of the wise is the first non-state structure that forms part of ECOWAS’ peace and security architecture chaired by the former president.
