The Economic Community for West African Stares, ECOWAS has set 50 USD as the maximum amount to be paid by the citizens of its member countries, for anti-Covid tests. This forms part of the sub-regional body’s efforts to fight the virus in a concerted manner.
A communique issued the commission after the 58th Ordinary Session of the Authority of Heads of State and Government over the weekend also said that the Authority has approved a pooled procurement approach for anti COVID vaccines.
