The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) has deployed a team for a Field Validation Monitoring and Evaluation mission in The Gambia.
The team is expected to evaluate and assess how the 954,616 dollars allocated by the regional body for Banjul as part of a broader 10.16 dollars million relief initiative is being utilized.
The initiative aims to assess the humanitarian relief support for victims of the flood disaster and food crisis in 2022 across the country.
