President Félix Tshisekedi of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, on Sunday, arrived in Doha – Qatar, for an official visit.

President Tshisekedi who is the current President of the African Union was in the Middle Eastern country on the invitation of the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim ben Hamad Al Thani.

According to reports, this is an official working visit with a very important diplomatic and economic background for the two States. 

President Felix Tshisekedi becomes the first head of state of the Democratic Republic of Congo to be received by the Emir of Qatar.
