A coalition of 15 civil society organizations in Niger has expressed disappointment against the deployment of French troops in their country.

To register their displeasure, the groups planned a march on Wednesday in Niamey. However, after the march was banned, the coalition under the M62 movement announced that they had decided to send a petition demanding their departure instead.
