A group of Civil Society Organisations, The Concerned Citizens 66, says President Barrow’s comment on the death of 69 children linked to contaminated drugs was inadequate, misleading and intended to undermine justice.
The group also called for the immediate resignation of the health minister Amadou Samateh.
They further called for the resignation of the board of Directors of the Medicine Control Agency of the Gambia.
Degen Jobe is a member of the Concerned Citizens of 66 and read out the group’s demands.
