The government of Senegal has lifted nighttime curfew on the capital city of Dakar and a nearby region of Thies. The curfew was lifted on Friday.
The government imposed the restriction on the regions in January amid the increase in the number of confirmed Covid19 positive cases.
The end of the restriction has come as a total relief for residents of the regions.
