Authorities in Nigeria say 17 point 9 million persons, representing 16% of the eligible population target have been vaccinated so far against Covid-19.
The Director-General of the National Primary Healthcare Development Agency, Faisal Shuaib, disclosed this at a news conference on Wednesday where he said the recent donations of Johnson and Johnson Covid-19 Vaccines have been distributed to all States including Abuja, the capital.
