Nigeria’s Presidential Task force PTF on covid19 says, plans are underway for the inoculation of 40% of the population by end of 2021.
The team spearheading the fight against the virus in Nigeria said, the first batch of 100,000 doses of BioNTech vaccines are due to arrive by end of January.
Announcing the vaccination plan during its briefing Wednesday – head of the primary healthcare agency, Dr Faisal Shuaib explained that frontline health workers, first responders, national leaders, vulnerable group and the elderly, are prioritized in the first phase of the campaign.
