In Liberia, the fight against COVID-19 is gradually becoming a challenge as the country begins sending specimens to neighboring countries for analysis. This is because the only specimen machine in Liberia is spoiled. 

Health Minister Wilhelmina Jallah says efforts are underway to repair the machine but the lack of funding is a challenge. She also announced the arrival of a huge quantity of COVID-19 booster shots, expected to be administered to the population in the coming days.
