The former first lady of Côte d'Ivoire, Simone Ehivet Gbagbo has gone into quarantine after coming into contact with a confirmed case of Covid-19.
Ms. Gbagbo made this known on Christmas day where she cautioned Ivorian’s to be more vigilant and cautious while enjoying the holiday festivities.
Côte d'Ivoire is experiencing a resurgence of cases, with 377 new cases of Covid-19 recorded Thursday out of 3,421 samples taken. There have been 24 recoveries and 1 death.
