The World Health Organization WHO says over the last week, COVID-19 cases have risen in four out of the agency’s six regions.

The Global health body, says due to the reduced testing and sequencing in many countries, it is increasingly difficult to know where the virus is and how it’s mutating.

According to WHO, The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea announced its first outbreak of the COVID-19 with more than 1.4 million suspected cases since late April.

The WHO Director-General, Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus during a briefing in Geneva on Tuesday, expressed concerns about the risk of further spread of the virus particularly in countries with unvaccinated populations.

The UN health Chief also outlined key agenda ahead of the next World Health Assembly beginning on Sunday.
