The Economic Community of West African States, ECOWAS has been tasked to intensify its collaboration with Civil Society Organizations and relevant partners in the restoration of constitutional order in Burkina Faso, Guinea and Mali.
This was the submission by the Open Society Initiative of West Africa and a coalition of Civil Society organizations from the affected countries during a press briefing in Nigeria's capital Abuja.
They over the weekend called on the regional bloc to facilitate a successful political transition as well as a total overhaul of the crisis.
