Ivorian government spokesperson Sidi Touré has announced that a new prime minister will probably be known after April 1, 2021. This follows a Council of Ministers meeting.
The country’s’ immediate past Prime Minister Hamed Bakayoko died on March 10.
Ivorian government spokesperson Sidi Touré said that per the country’s institutional calendar, the first session of Parliament takes place from April and a large majority of members of the government have been elected as deputies. They are expected to sit for the first time in April before going to work other occupations.
