The inaugural edition of the International Forum for Trades and Skills (FIMEC) has opened in Abidjan, focusing on transforming vocational training as a driver of inclusive and sustainable growth.

Under the theme “Reinventing vocational training for human capital,” the event is organized by the National Agency for Vocational Training and was officially launched by Ivorian Prime Minister Robert Beugré.

With 2,000 participants expected, the forum seeks to reshape skills development and create employment opportunities to strengthen Côte d’Ivoire’s workforce.
