Cote d’Ivoire’s National Office of the Movement of Agents for a Performing Ivorian Health System (MASSIP) has declared December a "red month" following a meeting in Yopougon over the weekend.
The Secretary-General of the national health workers union Koulaï Valentin told journalists they will go on strike in December to pressure the authorities to pay hazard allowances to 7000 of their members whose names were omitted from the list.
