The 5th edition of the National Land Summit in Côte d’Ivoire ended two days ago in Abidjan. Organized by the civil society platform ALERTE-Foncier, the event was held under the theme: “Gender and Land in Côte d’Ivoire: Challenges and Prospects for Inclusive Governance and Sustainable Peace.”
Land rights experts who participated in the summit proposed solutions to tackle the persistent inequalities women face in accessing land.
