Cote d’Ivoire cocoa bean quality hit by dry weather, farmers say

Farmers in Cote d’Ivoire said on Monday that, Over three weeks Dry weather in most of the cocoa regions has damaged the quality of beans and threatened to reduce the size of the April-to-September mid-crop.

The world's top cocoa producer is in its dry season from mid-November to March. 

As Usman Umar reports, Rain is normally scarce in these months but has been well below average recently.
