In Côte d’Ivoire, 8 months before the presidential election, a group of twenty-five opposition parties, including the PDCI of Tidjane Thiam, the FPI of Affi N’Guessan, the COJEP of Charles Blé Goudé, the MGC of Simone Gbagbo, called the Coalition for Peaceful Alternation in Côte d’Ivoire (CAP-Côte d’Ivoire) made its official exit from the polls on Monday, March 10, 2025.
Through CAP-Côte d’Ivoire, which is a non-ideological framework, the opposition parties want to implement united actions to obtain, in particular, the reform of the Ivorian electoral system.
It should be noted that the opposition parties are demanding a new revision of the electoral register and a political dialogue before the elections are held.
