The trial of Amadou Damaro Camara, former president of Guinea’s National Assembly under Alpha Condé, resumed Tuesday before the Court for the Repression of Economic and Financial Offenses.
He is being prosecuted for embezzlement of public funds, illicit enrichment, money laundering, corruption in the public and private sectors, illegal taking of interests, and complicity during his management of the Guinean parliament.
The debates were closed and the case adjourned until Wednesday, October 16 for submissions and pleadings.
