A key suspect in Liberia’s Capitol arson case has accused police officials of trying to bribe witnesses to falsely implicate lawmakers in the attack.
John Nyanti, who fled the country after the fire incident at the national parliament, was recently arrested in Ghana and extradited to Liberia.
Nyanti now faces multiple charges related to the arson but claims authorities are attempting to manipulate the case through witness tampering—allegations that could further complicate an already sensitive investigation.
