Officials from Ndjamena and Yaounde are meeting in Cameroon to discuss measures to jointly combat the growing security threats along their shared border.

Cameroon and Chad both Central African States share similar threats as their neighbors, Niger and Nigeria in West Africa.

In these countries, officials register daily cases of either Boko Haram terrorist attacks or cross-border crimes, targeting civilians and wildlife.
