The Burkina Consumer League and the Veterinary Public Health Department have incinerated a ton of frozen chickens being imported into the country from Ghana on Sunday. 

Dr Gisèle Paré, Director of the Veterinary and Public Health Department of Burkina Faso said the chickens, apart from being illegally smuggled into Faso under unhygienic conditions, were confirmed unfit for human consumption.
