The Minister of culture and tourism in Burkina Faso, Valerie Kabore said on Tuesday that the country recorded an all time-drop in overall tourist arrivals of 23.5% in 2020 compared to the year 2019.

She attributed the decline to the threat of terrorism and the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic.
