Workers in Burkina Faso have handed over a list of five key demands to the authorities.
The spokesperson of the union for trade union action, UAS, said the demands include the reinforcement of the security of persons and property, the respect of the commitments made by the government, the respect of trade union freedom, and the promotion of decent work and the guarantee of purchasing power.
Speaking to Union members, the Burkinabe Prime Minister Albert Ouédraogo, said the demands will be addressed in accordance with available state resources.
