In Burkina Faso, citizens of the commune of Madjoari, in the eastern region, are sounding the alarm over insecurity. 

They fear that their commune is in danger of falling into the hands of armed terrorist groups. 

An ultimatum of seven days has been given to the remaining inhabitants to leave the area. 

A military base has been installed in the area for two years to prevent a jihadist assault on the town.
