Authorities in Burkina Faso on Tuesday launched the campaign for voluntary blood donation in Ouagadougou, the nation's capital.
Minister of Health, Dr. Robert Lucien Jean Claude Kargougou who launched the campaign said it became necessary due to increase in demand for blood transfusion in emergency cases and treatment of malaria.
