The Association of Journalists of Burkina Faso (AJB) has condemned increasing restrictions on press freedom in the country.

During a General Assembly on Saturday, the AJB denounced media intimidation, journalist abductions, and shrinking space for free expression.

The association has called on rights defenders to take action against these growing threats.
