The government of Burkina Faso has issued a warning to local media outlets in the country to refrain from publishing news related to terrorism or face suspension.
During a press conference, the Minister for communication, Jean Emmanuel Ouédraogo, urged journalists to support the government’s efforts in combating armed groups, emphasizing that the government is determined to take responsibility in the fight against terrorism.
