The Ministers of Defense of Burkina Faso and Mali as well as their close collaborators recently held a working session in Ouagadougou, the capital of Burkina Faso, where they pledged to collaborate against violent extremism.
Last Monday, Alkassoum Indattou, Niger's Defense Minister, traveled to Burkina to meet his counterpart, General Barthélémy Simporé.
