The Burkinabe army says the anti-terrorist offensive unit across the country fighting against insurgents is scoring victories on several fronts.

According to the state broadcaster, the army assured that it destroyed several terrorist bases in the last 48 hours.

While the army claims victory against the jihadists, a movement is calling on the authorities to secure the safe and sound release of the over 50 women abducted by jihadists.
