Benin recorded impressive economic growth of 7.2% in the third quarter of 2024, according to the National Institute of Statistics and Demography (Instad).
This growth, up from 6.6% in the previous quarter and 6.3% in 2023, reflects robust performance across the nation’s three main economic sectors. Officials attribute the positive trend to strategic development initiatives and steady economic reforms.
The government remains optimistic about sustaining this upward trajectory, aiming to bolster national prosperity and resilience in 2025.
