The trial of activist Steve Amoussou in Benin has been postponed once again, now set for April 7.

Monday’s hearing at the Court for the Repression of Economic Offenses and Terrorism (CRIET) was brief but tense.

Amoussou’s case has sparked debates over political activism and judicial transparency.
