The General Staff of the armies says a jihadist assault has been repelled in the center-north of the country.

The incident occurred on Saturday when the Burkinabè army detachment in Bourzanga, 170 kilometers north of Ouagadougou was attacked around 5 a.m. by more than 200 jihadists.
