The Malian army said it has carried out air strikes against insurgents known as the Katiba fighters in the center of the country.
The offensive against the radical group affiliated to the al-Qaeda terrorist network, follows the massacre of at least one hundred and thirty-two civilians in the Bandiagara region.
The army in a statement informed that it carried out the strikes between Monday and Wednesday in Bankass and the surrounding areas.
