Cameroon's National Union of Air Traffic Controllers has called off a strike scheduled for 25th to 27th August 2022.
This followed a videoconferencing meeting on Monday of the Committee of ministers of the Agency for Air Navigation Safety in Africa and Madagascar which had in attendance, the Cameroonian Minister of Transport, GALLE BIBEHE Jean Emest Masséna and a delegation of the workers union led by its President and some members of the Board of the union.
A communiqué at the end of the meeting indicated that frank discussions on key issues were made and amicable resolutions were reached leading to the decision by the workers to immediately call off the scheduled strike.
